PIC runs a number of networking breakfasts, half-day seminars, training events and drinks receptions with guest speakers. These events are located in our London office and in regional locations around the country.
PIC Quarterly Networking Events
PIC hosts Quarterly Networking Events that are open to anyone involved in the pensions industry. These informal events take place at venues around London and include a specialist speaker and Q&A session followed by networking drinks. They are free to attend. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
Thought Leadership Events
PIC has an established Thought Leadership programme, working with specialist consultancies and other outside partners to research areas including: asset allocation challenges for defined benefit pension schemes, the influence of defined benefit pension liabilities on the market valuation of the sponsor. as well as wider issues such as UK infrastructure and the challenges facing investors and policymakers.
We host regular events to launch our Thought Leadership papers, with panel discussions and audience debate, followed by informal networking. Please contact email@example.com for more information.
PIC runs regular events for trustees covering a range of topics on managing risk. Typically, this would include presentations on individual asset classes, longevity insurance or swaps, pension insurance buy-in and buyout solutions and case studies, often delivered by trustees themselves.
Speakers are carefully selected and they are experts in their fields. Speakers at recent events have come from organisations including Aberdeen Asset Management, Insight Investment Management, JLT, the Wellcome Trust, Independent Trustee Services Limited, The Financial Times and The Economist.
The training events are design to allow plenty of opportunities for interaction with the speakers and time to ask questions of them, not just during the presentations but also at breakfast or over the networking lunch.
We are also happy to organise complimentary, bespoke training for the trustee boards and representatives of defined benefit pension funds, at a location convenient to you. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
