Our new brand
A new look for a new era
You may have noticed that our website is looking different
That’s because we’ve launched our new brand, which includes our new logo, and a shortened company name, from Pension Insurance Corporation, to PIC.
A company’s brand is more important than ever these days. We’ve invested in ours now because it will help us to stand out and continue to attract and retain the best people.
With 15 successful years under our belt we wanted to signal our commitment to the next 15 years, and for many decades to come – to our policyholders, investors, customers, employees and all our stakeholders .

What’s staying the same?
We may have a fresh new look, but everything else about our business and the way we operate is staying exactly the same. We’re still the same team with the same ethos, and an unshakeable commitment to delivering our purpose.
Why the penguins?
The new logo features our familiar Emperor penguin, but it’s bolder and clearer than before.
Our orange is based on their plumage, and the blue and grey represent the rocks and the sea of the Antarctic.
The PIC penguins
Emperor penguins have been central to PIC’s brand from the start. That’s because they’re memorable and intrinsically appealing (who doesn’t love a penguin?), as well as striking to look at. But the most important reason is the characteristics that Emperor penguins embody, qualities that the PIC team works hard to emulate every day.
They are ...
Loyal
They form lifelong partnerships, working together to protect and nurture their young and cooperating for the wellbeing of the group. Like them, our team invests time in building long-term relationships, showing ourselves to be dependable and dedicated.
Adaptable
Penguins have evolved to live successfully in water and on land, in many different climates. We too are adaptable, staying agile in a changing environment and evolving our business with innovative solutions.
Resilient
There are few animals on earth as tough as Emperor penguins, who withstand long Antarctic winters and endure months without food. PIC also stays strong even in the harshest economic conditions and in the face of the most volatile markets, thanks to our healthy and conservatively managed balance sheet.
