Why the penguins?
Most people would agree that there is something intrinsically appealing about penguins but, for us, it's not simply a matter of a pleasing image. Penguins have been central to our brand since the company was founded in 2006. We like to think we share certain characteristics with these tenacious animals: Loyalty, adaptability, agility, resilience and determination.
Most people would agree that there is something intrinsically appealing about penguins but, for us, it's not simply a matter of a pleasing image.
Penguins are recognised as having certain characteristics which happen to be at the core of our company's ethos:
Loyalty – penguins partner for life, benefit from group co-operation and nurture their offspring carefully. We provide outstanding service to our policyholders, work closely with all stakeholders, nurture our employees and protect our assets.
Adaptability – penguins have adapted to life under the waves or on land, in many different environments. We are also agile, creating innovative, bespoke solutions to give our clients security and stability.
Resilience – penguins are supremely resilient, able to withstand the long Antarctic winters, enduring months without food. Our strong, conservatively managed balance sheet ensures our resilience. With it we have withstood, and are able to withstand, the harshest of economic environments.
