Sir Martin is the former Chairman of Prudential plc and of
BZW. A Director of the Bank of England from 1986 to 1995, he was in addition
deputy Chairman of Barclays plc, and non-executive Director of Rio Tinto plc,
Marks and Spencer plc and other companies.
Currently Chairman of Canary Wharf Group plc and Share plc and
Chancellor of the University of Buckingham.
