John Coomber retired as the Group Chief Executive Officer of Swiss Reinsurance Company of Zurich in December 2005, following 33 years at the word’s leading reinsurance company. Today John serves as a Board member of the Swiss Re Group, telent, Mactavish, Qatar Insurance Services, is a Trustee of The Climate Group and a member of the Deutsche Bank Climate Advisory Panel. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries and an Honorary Fellow of The Chartered Insurance Institute.
