Pension Corporation Investments assumed control of the Thorn Group and Thresher Group in June 2007. Vision Capital subsequently acquired 75% of the Thresher holding company on 12th June 2007. Pension Corporation Investments acquired telent plc in November 2007 by way of a public offer. telent plc is the principal employer and sponsor of the G.E.C. 1972 pension scheme.
